A Belt scale or Belt weigher is an instrument used to measure the flow rate of the material travelling over the conveyor belt. Basically we incorporate this belt scale in to the existing or newly manufactured conveyor systems, the conveyor belt can be of trough type with or without inclination or a flat surfaced belt conveyor. The conveyor belt length can be of different size. Our belt scale shall even be fabricated as per your dimensional needs for satisfying your requirements exactly.

Our belt scale shall consist of standard single idler or multiple idler weigh frames which is balanced and mounted on load cells, fixed below the conveyor belt and the complete weighing assembly is mounted on the conveyor frames. MAKO belt scale will accurately measure the load and measure the speed of the conveyor and calculate the rate of material flow instantly and display the totalize value of material flown on the belt using P.L.C systems, which will in turn deliver long term accurate, reliable and repeatable product weighing.

We are Manufacturing Loss in Weigh feeder basically for finely grounded powder materials like Fly Ash, coal, Slag materials, Medicines, Sugar Powders, etc.. Loss-in-weight feeders can be used for both small to medium feeding ranges. They work with extreme precision under optimum ambient conditions. They are very flexible even with poorly flowing products. They are used in many continuous processes such as feeding extruders requiring a high level of short-term feeding consistency. They are also used in the food industry and in laboratories by means of appropriate storage containers and adapted feeding devices. The design varies from compact constructions to modular concepts depending on feed rate required for the process.

Loss-in weigh feeders for bulk materials consist of: storage tanks, controlled feeding devices such as rotary air locks/ rotary vane feeders, chutes, Vibrators as well as load cells structure along with screw conveyor for weighing and discharging the materials

A loss in weigh feeder is gravimetric metering devices that receives material from an upstream supply like storage hoppers or cement silos and accurately doses the material into a process at a predetermined set feed rate, typically through a screw conveyor, twin screw, or vibratory tray. True to its “loss in weigh” name, this feeder’s operation is regulated by the amount of live load that is lost as the product is discharged. In order to do this effectively, the loss in weigh feeder receives constant feedback from a sensitive weighing device, which ensures that the precise amount of material is delivered either continuously or in each batch as required.

A Loss In Weigh feeding system includes a supply hopper or tank, a metering feeder or pump, a supporting scale system, and a PLC based controller. The system electronically balances tare weight so the controller senses only the weight of the material in the supply hopper.

At time zero, the hopper is full (high weight), and the operator enters the set point or desired feed rate into the controller.

As time and discharge advance, the actual sensed “loss in weight” follows the decreasing scheduled weight ramp whose slope is a direct representation of the desired weight of delivered material per unit of time (set point). The controller makes frequent comparisons of sensed vs desired rate and alters the feeder’s output, keeping it at the set point.

Once the sensed weight reaches the hopper refill level (low weight), the controller locks the feed system into volumetric control. The hopper is recharged, and the loss in weigh cycle repeats. The controller rate disturbance mode protects against any outside weight disturbance that might cause an upset and provides the unique ability to manually load the hopper at any time without disturbing the feed process.

INTRODUCTION TO SILO/TANK/HOPPER/VESSEL WEIGHING SYSTEM

This is one of the gravimetric methods of accurate weighing mechanism; this weighing system measures the actual weight of the material which is inside the Silo/Tank/Hopper/Vessel. Examples of materials measured are cement, sand, aggregates, flour, grains such as corn, rice, wheat, chemicals which are in granules or in powder form with easily flow ability etc. tanks are used to basically weigh the liquids like water, oils of different kinds, liquid chemicals etc. Load cells are placed at the outer body of the Silo/Tank/Vessel/Hopper. The measurement can be made to cold, atmospheric temperature, frozen, aggressive, non free flowing and for all kinds of repose angle material, irrespective of the dimensions or sizes of the tanks/Silos. Material is fed into the weigh belt via a feed hopper; this hopper is equipped with a manually adjustable profile gate which controls the bed depth on the feeder belt. The weighbridge assembly built into the feeder measures the gravimetric force applied by the material travelling down the belt and converts this force into a mV signal which is proportional to the loading on the belt. A digital speed sensor continuously monitors the belt speed and the powerful programmable logical control based of 2700 model system integrates these two signals to give you an instantaneous rate of flow and totalized weight of material that has passed through the feeder.

The Weigh Feeder 2700 series integrator also provides analogue or digital outputs that allow you to control and monitor your process.
